Mini micro design

Helped a friend select and plant up two large ceramic pots today. Pots like this are an easy and relatively inexpensive way to improve the 'kerb appeal' of a house soon to be on the market. We've chosen plants with winter colour and texture, keeping the colour palette a simple array of golds and greens which create a striking contrast with the shiny black pots. The viburnum will produce berries and white flowers in winter,  whilst the Heuchera and Hebe will display white and purple flowers respectively in the summer - let's hope the house is sold before then though!

Species include:
Viburnum 'French White'
Hebe Variegata
Heuchera 'Lime Marmalade'

A beautiful but cold morning on site last week, our feet took a while to defrost after! We were busy pacing out the large terrace and fire pit area; considering access for maintenance, views through proposed planting and the levels/drainage.
